Was wondering if someone could tell me where the place to be is in Thailand for this new years eve? Am at a loss for what to do as i will be traveling by myself and do not want to get stuck at home for new years eve? First time in over three years i will not be at work for new years, so am looking to do something good and was interested in Thailand!!!!
If anyone has any good ideas for me would be greatly appreciated.
P.s hope I'm not too late to book accommodation and flights ect??????????
Hello, New Years in Thailand, other than the normal party atmosphere of NY there is nothing really special. You need to be aware however that many hotels and resorts, especially those that are nicer and more expensivedo charge more on Christmas and New Years as they put on a sort of a gala party, whether you attend or not. That cost can be almost double the room rate in some places. Your lower end places often do not charge this rate and it should be listed on a reservation.
As far as where to go, Bangkok is always a party place as are the more popular beach resort like Phuket and Kho Lanta, Samui, Krabi etc... So it really depends on where you want to be. If you want something more specific for info let me know. Have fun!!
