I am done with Mexico and Florida, I have been there for the past 3 years and I would like to try a great Caribbean destination. My options were Margarita Island in Venezuela, Aruba, somewhere in Panama, Costa Rica OR Colombia. After a long research I found out I could have this mix of hike the jungle - do scuba diving and enjoy a Caribbean beach in this Tayrona Park somewhere in Colombia. I am not really into the luxury traveling style and it looks like this is some kind of great hippie style relaxing beach. So my question is has anyone been there? What are your recommendations for this place in general? -snip- It seems to be like a really clean, isolated and beautiful spot.
it was when i was there 30 years ago! we camped out and got invited to do some tomb raiding by the locals...good fun!
