It took about 2 days!! was really impressed with how quick it was as I expected to wait a while!

I fly into Melbs on October the 28th. Gonna stay there for a few weeks and then head up to Sydney. Then prob stay in Sydney till after new year then head up the east coast.
Whats your plan? When are you flying in?

I'm arriving in Melbourne on 19th November and staying for a week before heading off to Sydney on 26th November... I don't know how long I'm going to be in Sydney but I'll definitely be heading back to Melbs at some point! I don't have too much of a plan at the moment, just kinda drifting around.
I was looking to stay in Sydney for Christmas and New Year but I'm having difficulty choosing somewhere to stay as the prices are so high which I obviously understand!! After Sydney I'm stumped. I want to travel up the east coast and also do my three months somewhere to qualify for the second WHV.
It's fast approaching now so I should probably get a move on with my planning!!

Hi Claire, I'm thinking of going November or early January. I'm trying to decide whether to start in Melbourne or Sydney, either way I'll make it to both. Are you doing all the planning yourself or did you sign up with a travel & work program to get you situated with your visa, arrival accomodation, and help with finding a job? Also, are you planning to stay in hostels the whole time you're there or figure you'll end up getting a place to stay with people you meet? I'm going by myself so one thing I'm worried about is getting there and just being completely on my own. Let me know how your planning is going... - Katie
