Just out of sheer interest, as none existed before: what is your TOP 5 list of locations in the USA that have a hostel? Great hostels can also be nominated.
I have two questions:
- Are you conducting a survey for some sort of project (college, business, etc)?
- Or, is that just out of personal curiosity?
Our members will be willing to answer your question if it is just a personal inquiry. Otherwise, it will be considered a promotional request and flagged as spam.
Many hostels, hotels and travel companies will post such requests only to come back and promote their own properties. The fact that you use the term 'nominated' is a red flag that this is not just a personal request. I do hope you can prove that to be a wrong assumption, otherwise this thread will be deleted as promotional.
Travellerspoint is very strict about promotional threads and anything that could be/is a request for college project input.

Hi Isadora- This is no way a research question: otherwise I'd have told you. Just from my own interest, I am currently constructing a trip through the USA (35 days from New York to LA) and see there are so many options. Therefore I thought it might be interesting hearing some other's their most beautiful and recommendable spots. Excuse me that I signed up for this forum and asked it here, otherwise I'll move on to another one.

According to Travellerspoint's stats (USA TOP Spots at top right on the ), the top 5 locations are:
New York
Boston
LA
San Fran
And then a pretty even split between a number of places including DC and Honolulu.
