I'm planning a trip to Monaco for the formula 1 in 2013. I'm stopping in nice and watching the GP from a private yacht. Just wondered if there's anyone out there that's also going, and fancys meeting up for a few drinks at rascasse party on the Saturday night!
I would also appreciate any advise people could give as to getting around Monaco, good places to eat and best places to party.

Getting around Monaco during the GP is best done on foot (or by scooter). Some of the roads in Monaco obviously make up the track for the Monaco Grand Prix but they are reopened once race sessions have finished to pedestrian and road traffic, although the roads can be incredibly busy.
We have a list of restaurant suggestions we send out to our guests so if you PM or email me I'll send it to you, it should be a decent starting point.
In terms of parties there are lots to choose from and there are new ones popping up every year but experience has shown that they are very poorly attended so if I would stick with the known ones if I were you, i.e. Amber Lounge, Jimmy'z (both are not to everyone's taste or budget) or some of the other bars. You already mention Rascasses which is good fun on Friday night but I always find the atmosphere very different on the Sunday, much more aggressive. There are obviously also yacht parties, we run some but I'm sure the company you are purchasing your hospitality through on the yacht will offer something for the evenings. If not let me know and if ours don't meet your needs I'll make some other suggestions.
