Hello guys

Night train from Paris to Munich:

But a cabin is expensive so best sleep in your seat. Incidentally the Germans call Munich: Munchen.

Night or day train Berlin to Krakow:

You can book into a room, shower, a few hours sleep and then up and about sightseeing.

Krakow to Warsaw by train:

When in Warsaw, don't miss the museum. It's easy to walk right past it (it's on a corner in the old town).

Trains can often be booked online beforehand, and times may change between now and your trip in 2014. Even new cheap air routes might open up.

Which museum?

Historical museum. There are some others. I found a photo on wikipedia:

It's the building on the far left with the white poster. The large square was filled with chairs and tables and people eating and drinking last time I was there.

If in Warsaw on Sunday morning, there is a large boot sale just outside the Old Town which has lots of interesting nick-naks for sale.

Thank you Cyberia! that has really helped! i will look into it.

cheers

x
