I'm trying to edit my travel map, but it doesn't save. When I hit "Save trip", nothing happens. Both in Chrome and Firefox.
I notice the save button doesn't work for me either, but the changes have been saved. Are your changes not saving at all? Do you have auto-save on or off?
hi pbaumann, I can't replicate any problems with my own trip. Saving consistently is working.
When the save button doesn't work, does it have the "You have unsaved changes!" text next to it? If it doesn't, then there simply is nothing to save.
The other possibility - if you are adding stops and haven't clicked Finish, then the Save button won't work until you hit Finish. In fact, clicking Finish will straight away save the changes anyway.
These are just guesses as to what might have happened though. It would be great to have a little more detail on the steps you took prior to saving. (what kind of changes you made, etc)
Hi, Peter, exactly that was the problem. It said "You have unsaved changes!", and I was just editing a stop and should have saved with the button below the stop and not the button on the top right. That was confusing me.
Both buttons should work in that situation. Did you find the one below the stop did work even when the top one didn't? Is it still not working for you now or does it seem to have resolved itself?
I have made some changes in the way trips are saved pretty recently, but all my own testing so far indicates it's working well. Of course, there might be some problem situation that you managed to stumble on which I didn't take into account.

It probably shouldn't behave this way, but basically until you hit Finish, it won't save.
In my case, it was basically greyed out, which I now understand to mean that the stop has already been saved because of hitting Finish.

I just put up a small fix, which may have caused problems for you. You still need to hit "Finish" first though
