Hey guys
I'm going travelling next year and so far I've got a one way ticket to NZ in January, I've got everything sorted so far except my travel insurance...
Does anyone recommend any company to get insurance with? I've looked at STA travel and that is £485 for the premium package for a year, and this covers me for all the extreme sports I want to do. I'm prepared to pay for really good cover, but of course I don't want to pay more than I have to!
Thanks
Hey! I'm also trying to search the same thing. I go in about 4 weeks so i really need to get a move on. I'm also trying to search for a decent travel insurer at reasonable prices but so far no luck. If i find anything i'll let you know
Me too guys, i also head soon... Haven't got it either.. I'm going in five weeks to be exact.... Same as, if i stumble across anything il let you know
Hi Georgia,
You can always try our travel insurance partner . They're good for adventurous travellers needing flexibility, the prices are pretty good, and you can claim and extend online.
There's more info here on why we decided to work with them: .
Good luck!

I found insureandgo to be quite reasonable. Half the price for a standard quote from STA
I used insureandgo as well. They seemed decent enough, but I never actually had to file a claim with them, so I can't speak to that part of the process. They were reasonably priced and had good coverage though.
I only have a few days left! I better get a move on
