Hi im 21 and have a working holiday visa for oz and am flying out on my own in a few weeks, tbh have no idea where to start and will be making it all up as I go along but wondering if anyone has considered either ozIntro or sta travels equivalent to get sorted with bank details and such when you arrive in Sydney!? and if it is worth going for one of those package things?

The general consensus is that you don't need a package company to do something which you can do for free. for more details on setting up a bank account and Tax File Number.
As for the intro part, others may have more experience on this but you can always check out in the past.

I have selected to go on Ultimate Oz tour, http://www.ultimateoz.com same as oz intro but different company different things to do.
We have a week of planned events all throughout the week as well setting everything up - infact, I should be getting an e-mail next week with my details on for my account and my phone number as well.
I was quite nervous and not sure whether or not to do it but i've already made about 5 facebook friends from people that are doing my tour and we've been messaging and that's before we have even took off! Looking forward to it but I am sure I will be posting on here!

You should be able to book onto the ultimatel oz what date do you arrive.? you should be ok if you get booking I'm on 29th Oct one booked two weeks ago.

I fly out on 11th November so a little after you guys but am considering booking one of these starter things too just don't know where to start! Has anyone heard what the STA travel one is like?
