Hi,
I'm off to Thailand at the end of April for a few months, then want to go from there to Australia, then New Zealand and Fiji! I'm prepared to work in oz and to stay there for upto a year. I'm thinking of booking the flight to Bangkok and the flight to oz and then possibly sorting the rest as I go. If anyone has any recommendations as regards to flights... Accommodation.... Tours..... Places to visit.... Things to pack... Visas.... Etc it would be much appreciated!

I am also planning for travel to Thailand at the end of March with my friends. Actually we are six friends and some friends want to travel for Maldives and others for Thailand. So we are planning for go to Maldives after Thailand.
Wow! The Maldives would be amazing but so expensive!! Are all six of you going to Thailand 1st? Have you booked flights & accommodation yet?
Book as you go when island hopping in Fiji. Just choose a hostel right there on the shore and they can set up a boat to the islands and can provide luggage storage so you can take a smaller pack with you. Most places you just get on and off in the water. No pier. But don't plan everything before! You'll meet people at the hostel, on the boat, and on the islands. Most of the time we decided over breakfast if we wanted to stay or go to a different place. And even sometimes when we decided to move on, there'd be a passenger drop off at another island, we'd see someone we knew and just hop of there instead. great fun.
If we wanted to stay or go to a different place when the boats came (like an hour later for pick up)* to let you know how laid back and easy it is to change plans.
Wow!! Sounds awsome! I am not going to plan in advance anyway I don't think!! Just wing it and see how it goes! That sounds easy as though! May have to check all the islands out once I'm there then
