Hello, here Tarik Farooq from India. I am going to plan a tour to USA with two of my family members for 15 days. I have Googled about famous places and have a map as well but I want suggestions from your side about the places to go in USA in 15 days.
I'd pick a few of the following:
(1) Grand Canyon
(2) Las Vegas
(3) New York City (Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Empire State Building)
(4) Yellowstone National Park/Grand Tetons (Old Faithful, Midway Geyser Basin)
(5) Orlando, Florida (Disney World Resorts, Universal Studios, Sea World, Space Center)
(6) Lake Powell (particularly near the Glen Canyon Dam)
(7) Yosemite
(8) French Quarter section of New Orleans
(9) San Francisco, California (Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Muir Woods)
(10) Seattle, Washington (Space Needle, Alki Beach, Lake Washington, Snoqualmie Falls)--and a quick trip to Vancouver or Victoria in Canada would be easy from Seattle
(11) Washington, DC (Capitol, White House, Aerospace Museum, Smithsonian)
(12) Everglades National Park
(13) Austin, Texas (Lake Travis, downtown 6th street area)
(14) Hearst Castle (middle coastline area of California)
(15) Memphis, Tennessee (jazz clubs and Graceland)
(16) Glacier National Park
(17) Hawaiian Islands--particularly nice are Kauai and Maui, but the active volcano is on the Big Island (which is actually named Hawaii)
(18) Miami Beach, Florida and the Florida Keys
(19) Moab, Utah and the many national parks/monuments near there (Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, Monument Valley)
(20) Rapid City area of South Dakota (Mount Rushmore, Badlands, city of Deadwood)
