Malaysia in 10-14 days - help!

Hi!

Hi Charlie,

I think "KL - Taman Negara National Park - Cameron Highlands - Penang" should be a better way to go since Taman Negara is in between KL and Cameron Highlands and the time spend on bus will be lesser. The transportation systems in Malaysia is good compared to other countries in SEA.

From KL central hub - take a LRT line and get down at the station Pasar Seni - the areas called China Town - you can find the Puduraya bus station there, this is the main bus station that you can take the bus to other states of Malaysia, However, it's safer to buy the bus ticket inside the hubs rather than many shops outside.

I think the price is affordable depends on the quality of the bus.

I don't recommend you to take the trains because it's not really convenience.

Message me if you need any help

Train might be slow but it's safer and comfortable... Express buses are real fast but always involve in major road accidents...

However, I would suggest KL-Tmn Negara-Cameron-Penang...

From KL-Taman Negara by the jungle train. Stop at Jerantut or Kuala Lipis and hire a car to Tmn Negara.

From Tmn Negara, I'm not sure if there's any express bus to Cameron. It's quite near. Maybe you can hire a local car to bring you to Cameron.

From Cameron to Penang by bus.
