So the journey has begun hehe so exciting!
Hired a car from my home city of Norwich and drove it down the heathrow, (a11 was closed so had to make a huge diversion to get to heathrow in time), then flew to singapore where i had a 6 hour block booked in the airport transit hotel (is awesome, you don't need to clear immigration and its ensuite so you can shower and get a few hours kip), then onto brisbane, had a 3 hour stop there and the swap from the international terminal to the domestic terminal (skytrain takes like 2 mins ), then flight on to cairns and now chilling in my unit!.. would highly recommend renting one of these units if you don't want to stay in a hostel, would even be cheaper if you had three of you in here as its got a double bed and big sofa.
Nice one, I bet you're buzzing! Are you planning to go up to Daintree/Cape trip while you're in Cairns?
oh yes haha exciting times, just need to get my sleeping pattern back to normal, i'm probably not going to do many trips around cairns, i've stayed here before and done all the daintree, cape trib and other things awhile ago, picked cairns as my first port of call as its really cheap for accommodation and i know the city really well just a good base to de'jetlag, buy a car and find a job for down south to head to
Hey!!..
What's the place you're staying in? I'm there in September and was gunna either couch surf or go to a hostel. Is it like an apartment or somethin then, what's the website I can find it on? Cheers
