Your budget of 25,000 euros is certainly more than adequate for a year's travel in Asia, particularly in Southeast Asia, one of the most inexpensive regions in the world for travelers. You won't be lonely. You'll meet lots of fascinating people. You'll want to talk to them; they will want to talk to you. You may even make life-long friends. Some countries, such as The Philippines, require proof that you have a ticket out of the country. That's not a hurdle, since there are lots of budget carriers in Asia. With those, the earlier you book, the cheaper the fare will be. Even one-way fares. Sometimes you can save money by buying plane tickets within the country, such as Vietnam. When it comes to an itinerary, it's good to be flexible. I was in Kolkata, India, when I learned from a traveler that it's now easy to get a permit to visit Sikkim. I've always wanted to visit that former Himalayan kingdom, so I scrapped immediate plans to visit Bodh Gaya, where the Buddha was enlightened, and instead traveled to Darjeeling and Sikkim first. You will not be bored in Asia. There are so many different sights to see, so many cultures to experience; and some of the best food in the world. If you're willing to take it all in; and go with the flow, you'll have lifetime of wonderful memories. Guaranteed.

Yeah, if my journey through Asia will really last 1 year (I think it will, but who knows what happens) I will certainly visit India. Though I'm not doing research yet, would be too much planning ahead I think. I guess India woud be great to spend the last weeks/months since it's totally different from the rest of Asia and one of the more difficult countries to travel (and closer to home).
I am kindda curious to know why you think india is different from rest of asia?? And difficult!!!little strange for me..May i am a native thats why 4 me its easy 2 travel inside india..
Language may be a problem 4 u....
I somewhat agree with andrea that india have nice people...but not all...i heard some incidents where people stole things of foreigners or travelers..but staying alert will eradicate that problem....Do you have other reasons??

With different I just meant India has a culture/people that is quite unique within Asia. Which I meant positively and makes a country worth visiting.
With more difficult I meant a harder to travel compared to countries like Thailand and Japan, where getting a train/bus/boat to most places seems possible without effort and the journeys short.
Didn't mean I think India is dangerous or anything
