I arrive in Sydney on the 1st of December and want to leave on the 7th, basically want to go up the coast like you to all them places, don't have anything booked after my weeks stay in Sydney soo yeahhh!
Hi there ! You pretty much have the same plan as me! I'm traveling from Sydney to cairns from the 4th December. I'm planning on doing the 'oz experience' backpackers tour all of those places you listed are on my bucket list!
This looks like my exact plan but from Jan onwards - if anyone is doing the same please say!

just remember that is we season far north but not really bad until mid jan .
