I'm Eleanor, 24 from UK. In a similar boat to you, travelling on my own from Melbourne to Cairns for the month of April. I arrive in Sydney on the 9th April (staying with a friend in Melbourne before this) and plan to stay for 3 days ish before making my way up the east coast. Be great to get in touch and hear your plans and maybe arrange to meet up in Aus!

Yeah that sounds cool! I have 3 nights planned in sydney from the 8th and then looking to head up and also finish in cairns. Im glad someone else is looking to do the east coast in a month because that's all the time I've got!
Have you got many plans of things your looking to do in sydney ??

Hey guys I'm 20 also, I've travelled America last year but now looking at Aus but am solo too which is nerve wrecking! If love to do the easy coast!

Yeah i wish i had longer but a month is all I have at the moment as well but i'm sure that will be enough time!
Where are you staying in Sydney?
I don't have any set plans just yet, but I definitely want to do a day trip to the Blue Mountains and then also just explore Sydney, see all the tourist spots and go to Bondi beach etc. How about you?

Yeah a month should hopefully be enough!! I'm not sure where I am going to stay yet, wake up hostel in sydney is where I am thinking but don't know yet! Yeah bondi and blue mountains are on my list ... I've got to try and get to cairns by the 23rd for a mates birthday who is over there, Byron bay and the whitsundays are top of my list but I'm just going to go with the flow!

Yeah definitely! I'm sure that will be enough time to get up there. I'm flying home from cairns on the 29th so on a similar time frame. Just gonna travel up as I fancy and hopefully timing all works out I'm flying to melbourne today so my trip is about to begin- so excited!
Ahh jealous, I've got 2 more days to wait!!
Just from speaking to people before i have heard wake up is meant to be good so i think i might stay there for a few nights when i get to Sydney.
