I'm trying to find an affordable way to go to San Andres and then to rendezvous with a friend in Bogota. The cheapest flight I can find is a return to San Andres from Panama City (I'm currently in Costa Rica and headed that way). However, the return leg goes via Bogota. Can I disembark there (I'm presuming I'll need to reclaim my baggage from the island flight first, anyhow, rather than being a transit passenger) or will I have problems doing this? I really don't want to have to return to Panama City, only to have to make my way back to Bogota anyway.
If you have carry-on luggage only then of course getting off in Bogota is no problems.
If you have checked luggage then can't you adjust your return flight to end in Bogota?

Thanks Terry. The issue was cost and it's very expensive getting there open jaw. Anyway, have resolved the issue and found a flight back via Bogota with a long stopover that allows me to retrieve luggage. Thanks for the speedy reply though!
