How do I make my route follow the roads, not just straight lines. That is impractical and doesn't help anyone.
At present you can't (the whole mapping system was originally created based on different map software, where you couldn't zoom in to a detail level showing roads), but Peter (the admin) recently mentioned that it's "", so I'd expect it to show up at some point in the near to mid future.
Yeah, I'm actually working on this at the moment. It shouldn't be long before this is ready to be launched.
The map was always intended as way to just give a quick overview of your trip, like a virtual version of the old fashioned pins on a map with strings between them. As such, following routes was not much of a priority. But of course, different people have different ideas of how such things should work, and who am I to stand in the way of progress
Any progress on enabling a trace of roads?
