Asking someone to legally sponsor a complete stranger is kinda ridiculous. Who would want to put themselves in a potentially damaging legal position for someone who they don't know?
In any case what is WAY more important for a Schengen Visa is your supporting documents from Cameroon. Are you employed at the same place for a long period... do you own property... do you have strong family/business ties... do you have sufficient funds... etc. There are lots of factors to consider. Having a sponsor is immaterial unless you can convince the officer that you will return home before the Schengen Visa expires.

Make a hotel reservation online and print out the confirmation they provide you.

If it's as simple as that then make a hotel reservation through a Travel Agent and use that as your documentation.
Do not make the reservations yourself directly, you have to use a Travel Agent.
