My husband and I are planning a 3 month road trek in a small RV this fall.... starting in BC. Looking for route suggestions and important sites to take in. We love hiking and biking, and are not really city people.

You've named a very large area of the USA and even limiting it to hiking, biking and avoiding cities doesn't narrow it down much. I think asking for someone to suggest a route is like asking someone to write a guidebook just for you. I suggest you buy some guidebooks or do some online searching and come up with a list of places that interest you. Then it MIGHT make some sense to ask for specific advise on an efficient route to follow that takes them all in.
