Cape Town in Feb?

Hi,

Hi Helen,

Cape Town is a great place to visit, especially in summer There is plenty to do and see and lots of visitors and locals to hang out with. -snip-

Having lived in Cape town for about 8 months I can positively say that you don't have to worry too much about finding things to do. I walk everywhere by myself and have never had any hassles (there are London cabs for evenings out). The center of town, Long Street in particular, is the most bustling and vibrant place to be, packed with cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs.

Hope this info is helpful. Happy travels!

Long Street is definately the place to hang out and there are several backpackers there. You could try starting at the Cat and Moose then, if you dont like that, check out the others.
When you arrive, grab a copy of Coast to Coast and that is all you need to plan your two weeks (available just about everywhere).
Trust me, you will have a ball and forget all about the ex!!!
Weather is great too.
Only drawback is...you need more time!!!!!!!

hi helen i will be cape town on my own where are you staying please respond .
