When will i stop being a ''budding member''?

??

Like all 'Budding' things, they must grow slowly, nurturing themselves and then, one day, when it's least expected, the Bud will bloom....

I'm sure that's of no use to you whatsoever, sorry!

Member titles are determined by contributions on this site using a known only to the Overlords.

To get out of that budding phase, post more on the forums, have your photos or photos or blog entries featured, or contribute to the travel guide. The last one appears to be the fastest way to climb up the "ranks".

...have your photos or photos or blog entries featured...

Okay - so what's the difference between the first "photos" and the second "photos"? It's only going to confuse Christian that much more if you don't give an explanation. Maybe you mean travel-related photos versus the "wink-wink-nudge-nudge" photos. I do believe there is a T&C about pornographic material...

In a bit of a hurry there, Hien? Boss sneaking up on you?

Yep, only the amateur stuff here, not that crappy professional BS

Christian, to be honest, I'm not really sure why you aren't already a Full Member... your posts seem to be in the travel parts of the forums (off topic posts aren't counted, which has meant some members didn't get it sooner) and you have featured photo. I'll have to ask Peter as contrary to Hien's post, the formula is really only known to him. I comfort myself with the knowledge that then at least it is not me that has broken it when cases like this come along

As Hien mentions, contributing in the wiki is really the fastest way to go at the moment, but I don't think it should be quite this skewed.

I would like to edit some guides, say for machu picchu, but i can't as im not a full member.....

The guides can be edited regardless of member status, except the featured guides, which the one is I'm afraid.... let me check on this end how long we leave them featured before opening up again for further editing!

Thanks for the heads up on the featured photo anyway. I never knew it had been featured!

I don't think so. Just now saw a full member's profile.

forum posts=66
guide =68
Nothing else.. no photos, no blog etc.. and her personal website is also visible.

I have
forum posts=25
photos =9
blog =2
trip =1
guide =1003

I am still a budding member.
