Best States to learn the Arabic language is 1. Saudi Arabia (higher costs)
2. Egypt (cheap) in Cairo or Alexandria .. Study + tourist + visa from the airport
3. Syria (cheap) Country uncomfortable
I can't help much with specific advice about language schools but I travelled in Syria last year and I think Damascus would be a fantastic place to live and study. I liked Aleppo but for me it doesn't have the charm that Damascus has.
That's interesting maharashtr...why is Syria uncomfortable? Have you been there?
Cheers Bex, I was looking at Damascus or Cairo tbh, it's hard toss up as I'd live their for at least a month!
Any experts among you?? I speak a little of quite a few languages - but Arabic, I've never tried.
I wanted to ask, how easy or difficult is it to read or speak, say - compared to English, Mandarin, or one of the many Eastern European languages??
