I'm looking for a long distance walk around Wales or Northern Ireland that is still passable early November, is not to hard and with cheap accomodation (youth hostel,...) along the way.
The Snowdonia National Park (North Wales) is just awesomely beautiful with endless walks - either along the numerous public footpaths, or across the many mountains. There are Youth Hostels en-route that offer good cheap beds and an excellent breakfast. Google or Yahoo! will advise you on everything. As for Northern Ireland, I can say of all the walks I've done out there, the very best has been the one up to and beyond The Giant's Causeway (County Antrim). Again, there are many websites with all the information you need.
Both locations will be quite wet and windy in November - so make sure you have the right gear. Sounds very patronising I know - and I do apologise, but the weather in both North Wales and Northern Ireland is so unpredictable even in the Summer.
I was going to suggest the Antrim Coast as well. Beautiful scenery and lots of places to stop.
And I just got back from NI and it rained for 10 days. It rains all the time there--no matter when you go. Just get rain gear and enjoy!
You know what - I had that belief that it rains all the time out there. When I last did N.I. a couple of weeks ago, the weather was just stunning for the whole two days. Not a cloud in the sky at all. Who says miracles never happen??
You could try the Offa's Dyke Walk from Chepstow to Prestatyn (or reverse). 317 km 700 stiles to climb over. Some Youth Hostels and inns to stay at. I wouldn't camp out in November. Great walk along this historic border region.
Here is a tip - walking long distance routes in Wales:
You can start from Shrewsbury area (train station) - You can do the northern third of the Offa's Dyke Footpath, finishing in Prestatyn, then get the train across to Conwy and walk in the Snowdonia National Park finishing off in the southern part of the National Park, say near Ffestiniog or Harlech (great heritage sites and castles in both Conwy and Harlech!). A train from here returns to Shrewsbury too.
Many hostels in this area and good camping.
This is the best of walking - the best of both worlds.

I don't know exactly how long you want but, in NI, i'd recommend a circuit walk of the Ards peninsula and Strangford Lough area. You won't find more beautiful scenery than down there.
