Hi Messi,
A great nickname..... I hope you play as good as him as well,
Well I've been looking for tickets as well,
Here are my conclusions:
1. If you have spare time and a lot of energy you can go to the field in the day of the game and buy the ticket directly there, it will be cheaper than anything else u can find.
But.... you have to wait maybe for 3 hours in the line and can buy only 2 tickets....
2. There is always the option to buy a football tour in a hostel which is sometimes in a very fair price.

Check out www.tangol.com for tickets. Keep in mind that if you book through them, you need to make sure you have no other plans post 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon on the day of the game.
whoa who whoa hold up there. Before you do anything listen to me. The tour is junk. They will put in a section with all the families and tell you that the other areas are too dangerous for tourists. They aren't! They are loud, exciting and actually a lot of fun. Just make sure you wear the right colors. Riverplate red and black and Boca is yellow.
I went to a River plate game with a few other travelers . There were plenty of police around and they just pointed us in the right direction for boletos (tickets). We got there early and we didn't feel threatened or in danger at all. bring cash. I forgot how much the tickets were but my blog will say it. http://playnowworklater.travellerspoint.com
VA VA VA Riverplate
Boca is the more popular of the two but that comes with a rowdier crowed and a bad area. Wherever you decide to go, make sure you hop in the first taxi you see when you exit. It may be hard to get a cab
This would be the best match to go see! Such intense rivals, let me know if you find a way to get tickets
Hi there,
My number one ambition has always been to go see Boca v River.
I'm going to be in South America early 2014 so I will et you know how I get on.
