Having just returned from Volunteering a month in Asia I thought it was best to warn anyone who is keen to volunteer abroad to stay away from WLS.

Thanks for your opinion. WLS may not be the best choice when looking for a place to volunteer while in SEA. I have friends in Phnom Penh that can always use another person to help out. No fees involved. They help orphans and poor families with housing, schooling, health care, etc.

I volunteered with WLS in Cambodia and they are wonderful. The support was fantastic and I had a great time at the projects. Also WLS has very reasonable prices so thank you for a great experience. I had the time of my life and I very much recommend this program.
So the point is WLS exist, and complaining about it is clever marketing.

Be careful to WLS INTERNATIONAL they say that they are non- profit organazation but they have a number society , and activity is listed as travel agency .You can see their benefit 150k$for one year. They cheat on me .They cancel my programm we no discussion no negotiation no remind because i did not pay the overdue solde before 6 weeks my date arrival . They keep my 400$ in advance. I never managed to reach them on phone. and they mail adress is not more available
Now, iI going to visit cambodge but not as a volunteer.
