Dear All,
An exact hotel, I dont know but for prices, IBIS hotels are cheap ( about $50+) There are about 10 IBIS in Paris with maps on their site so u can choose from those. The train system in Paris is so good that no matter where you choose, u can easily just hop on the train. But the train isnt so close to the Eiffel tower of all things.

I stayed at - central, clean and good value.
We stayed at Timhotel Le Louvre. It was fairly cheap, but clean etc and in a REALLY good location-just behind the Louvre near loads of restaurants and bars. It was within walking distance of all the main attractions. Definitely reccommended!
Your best bet is to get a ticket for the Metro, get off at one of the hundreds of stations - and you'll never be more than a 5 minute walk from a budget hotel, as long as you're not right in the city. Don't book in advance - just find a room when you're there. Easy and more fun. That way you can see the place before you decide whether to part with any money.
I second IBIS hotels. Its cheap and plenty to choose from.
