Hey Wyatt, I am in the same situation, I am thinking of leaving in october for about 6 months. Probably going to land in sydney and than head to the east coast and find work along the way. I am leaving from Montreal, haven't booked anything yet but hope to do so in the coming weeks.

I have booked my ticket to Sydney and arrive at the begining July. I am travelling alone from London, and also feeling a little hesisitant traveling alone too. I also have a girlfriend in Sydney who will be able to show me some sights. No big plans at the moment. However i do have a Working holiday Visa and will be seeking work. Let me know what you think?

Hey Andre. Good to know a fellow Canuck will be around there at the same time. I'm hoping to book my flight here soon and I'll probably fly out of Toronto unless Buffalo or Detroit is cheaper. I just have to do more research on my return flight. I want to make sure I can change it in case I want to come back earlier or later. Do you by chance know what the deal is on that?
Now I am looking to get my visa as well Billy but I'll probably wait till I get there to get a job.
I was told from a friend who has done the same to do some fruit picking for work or even work at a hostel if there's an opening as you can work to stay plus some $. I'm skilled in I.T. but I would prefer to work outside than in. Have you thought of what you want to do for work?
