International youth travel card (IYTC)/ backpacker cards

If you go to the , you can search for the discounts they offer. Greyhound is there (which can also be confirmed ), but oz experience isn't.

In general, assuming you're going to be staying at hostels, it's more than worth getting a card for the association your favorite hostels belong to, and then you'll get effectively the same discounts (plus a few more) as you'd get with an ISIC card. (Note that hardly anyone knows the IYTC card under that name; it's all just "ISIC card".)

I Thought the IYTC card and ISIC card are two different cards?? The ISIC card only being availible to students and the IYTC being the option for non students( and less discounts)? sorry if im wrong?

Hmm, yeah, I guess technically they are. But the ITYC is still (afaik) referred to as an ISIC card, and many of the full-fledged ISIC discounts apply for it. (Amongst which that greyhound discount, marked by the blue logo on the site I linked to.)
