laos/cambodia etc

Hello there,

Andrea,
April is usually HOT! Rainy season is roughly June-Oct. in both countries. Here is a for Cambodia, has Laos info as well. You do not need to book anything before you get there. You will find something in your price range in every city you visit. Check the 'accommodation' option here on TP, top of this page. Pick the: country, city, then choose 'budget' and see what is being offered online. There will be plenty of other places to stay that do not have a website. There will always be a room for you, esp. in April.

Good luck with your planning.

I just got back from Mexico 3 weeks ago and cannot seem to get back into the swing of things. Therefore I m planning a trip to Thailand > Cambodia > Laos > Vietnam in April.
Hoping to book in the next couple weeks.

How long are you going for Andrea?
Have you ever been in that part of the world before? Wheres home?

Cheers
Darren

Its not wet during April... actually they have water festival around mid April to escape from the heat... You don't need to book much in advance actually... maybe book only for the hotel in the city where u gonna land... rest you can book it in a day or 2 in advance... Never had problems getting rooms when booked couple of days in advance.

I went to pakse/phonsavansh in laos without booking rooms and didn't have any problems...
