hey... i live in the uk and currently bank with lloyds, i plan to travel for year minimum starting south east asia and ending poss canada... any advise on banking i dont want to end up paying a fortune in bank fees, any banks offer worldwide free cash withdrawal ? would be a bonus! an y help appreciated

What a dreamer! Nothing in life is free anymore, you always have to pay some small fee to withdraw funds, but I like using debit card ATM withdrawals, and don't really mind paying the fee as long as it is only a dollar or two. I am considering using a cash card for my next trip, but this has it's own set of problems too. My advice is to give yourself some sort of backup so you have an alternate way to get cash in case of theft or loss of a card.
