What's your main focus going to be with the "communication, social media and community strategies", outward or inward? (i.e. are we going to be seeing much of you here on the site (in which case, hi, I'm the guy who's going to complain about any social networking feature which feels "forced", and always wants an opt-out in favour of privacy ), or are we rather going to notice your presence by the way you pull more people from the great outside toward the site?)

Welcome aboard Kate!!! Don't know about Dmirty but Eric doesn't bite and Peter will be busy collecting eggs from his chickens. Oh wait, that's only 2 eggs a day... So, he may bite.
Ignore Sander for a few days and take time to bask in the "glow". After that, you can tackle his questions because he will tackle you a some point. I think he bites too. Okay, that's just a rumor...
Hopefully, you'll enjoy working with this group as much as we all have from one side or another. Again, welcome to the TP Team!!!
ps: If you ever need it, there is a "Holy TP Crowbar" available. I'm accused of using it to break everything on TP regularly. I'll be happy to lend it to you.

Welcome to TP! I'm the mad moderator here. A bit too busy with work lately, hence six days late to welcoming you. While I may have the mad title, it's those in the dungeon where you'll be working from you really should be afraid of!!! And if anything breaks, most often than not it's Isa's fault. (Isa, don't whitewash that thing by calling it holy. )

It is holy because I wholly hold the power to wield it. I also still have possession of the "holy hose" - don't forget that my co-moderating friend! TP Mom knows where you live so tread lightly.
Kate realize that Sander may actually be a ... (Wily creatures.) Though the original photo link is no longer available - several others are and the discussion goes on for pages. (Again, be prepared for battle.)
BTW - are you a pirate? (If not, meet us in the TP Martini Lounge located in the TP basement and we can fix that. Cocktails almost every Friday.)
As you know - TP is serious business, but we also like to have fun where and when we can.
