Hi Laura,
6 months is a long time to do just the east coast, were you planning on stopping and working somewhere for a few months? I guess starting in Cairns in May is a good idea, that way it's a one way trip to Sydney and you have the chance to stop along the way if you find work. Have a great trip!

hey im flying out to thailand on the 3rd of may then on to oz 2nd of june. i am excited but a lil nervious at the same time! no1 i have spoke to has any sort of conserne about beeing on there own but it is something i have been thinking about and it does worry me a little lol billy what jabs have you had for thailand i have had just hep a and b i hope that will b sufficiante?

Im flying out to cairns on the 30th June, meeting up with a friend a few days later.
Hopefully staying in Gigilians hostel, meant to be a good place to start.
If anyone is around that time then let me know, the thought of being in oz by myself is a little scary but still cant wait!!

Jealous you's guys are hitting Thailand, thats a place I would love to see. Yeah its seems Cairns best to start however its looking difficult with flights. I am going from Dublin so another 2 flights to get there ends up being 2 days flying.. Argh so annoying.(Airports stress me out) Unless I get into Brisbane Direct from London then get an internal flight up to cairns for June to meet you guys. Heard Giligans hostel is good too Leanne.
Yeah its a but daunting going on my own ave got so much to organise just need to pick a place to fly into then the rest will follow (Time is going too fast). Anywhere as long I can leave here, happy to meet new faces wherever I go.xo
Yeh I know what ya mean about flights to Cairns! All require 2 connecting flights...it's a right bummer!

Yeah good crowd of yas going to cairns it seems. Its just putting me off all the connecting flights! Went to usa last summer and had the worst experience with changing ova.. ended up 1st 2 days new york with no luggage.
Kirsty I might try meet up with ya! really wana go there! decisions decisions wana get meself sorted asap before I leave it any longer. That gilligans hostel looks great. Be a good start to the trip.xx
