I am shopping around for a flight from London Heathrow to Sydney Australia in October and I've found an ideal flight with Korean Air. Has anyone flown with them before?
Korean is an excellent airline - no question at all. You might also check with their competition - Asiana Airlines (the other great Korean airline).
Here's a sample long haul (with photos) from Rome to Auckland via Seoul.
Both airlines will give you a complementary hotel room when your transit time at Seoul Airport is greater than 8 hours. Note that this is not automatic - with Asiana, I call after I've booked the flight to request the hotel, and they've always said yes. Seoul Airport is one of the world's finest, and you will find it quite spacious, clean and comfortable with acres of shopping and interesting diversions (I suggest going up to the 4th floor). On the airport's lower level, there's a hospital, several banks and even a Korean spa. Korean and Asiana are the only airlines in the main terminal - all others out on the satellite terminal.

Thanks!
I have booked with them now. I looked at the pictures and read it too and found it helpful.
