Hi
We are a couple currently in Northern China on a 6 month overland trip finishing in Singapore in early September and would like some advice about doing a 3 week trip to Borneo . Is it best to go independantly or can anyone suggest a good value tour company . Any other advice would be greatly appreciated
I am soon to be heading from China to Borneo for an internship at Camp Leakey. This is the famous Orangutan rehabilitation centre that was founded by Dr Galdikas herself, there's a film called born to be wild 3d..check out the trailer on youtube.
The place looks absolutely incredible and I think they provide ecotours so I'd reccommend looking into that. Type in OFI camp leakey into google and you'll find the website.
All the best!
