Considering Panama and only have 10 or so days. If you had to choose would you go to the San Blas Is or Bocos del Toro. In the same breath how about Boquete or Gamboa.
San Blas. Bocas is actually nothing great as a town, and the scuba diving is average at best. The San Blas Islands are ARE the Caribbean. When you think of Caribbean Islands you are thinking of the San Blas....At the end of the day, though. It's about what you want to do. There is more partying at Bocas...But that ain't my bag, really.

San Blas for sure, unless you are on a limited budget. Bocas del Toro also has some amazing carribean beaches but San Blas rules in terms of natural beauty.
Also very beautiful beaches at the border with Colombia - near Puerto Obaldia.
I agree with Puerto Obaldia. You can actually cruise through the San Blas to Colombia, which is a country I love, love love.
