Hi i am heading to oz in feb 2012 alone, got some freinds there but going to spend the first few months traveling.
has anyone got any advice on hostels to stay at in sydney? preferably lively and lots of people to meet??

Hi, Im also going next year (a beginner to all this). Are you heading out there with a company 'real gap' etc? I think they put you up in a good hostel to start with so you can meet people. Im really looking forward to going, but kinda nervous about going on my own : lol. Maybe i need to man up haha :-D
No I'm literally going there alone, bookin a hostel in Sydney for the first few nights then I don't actually no what I'm going to do lol cannot wait to be honest, wen are you heading out there??
I defanitly want to head up the east coast at some point though, maybe after working a month or two : )
