I am a middle age , active woman .I would be very grateful for any suggestions regarding walking holidays over Christmas / New Year break .
I live in the UK and a bit of sun and warmth would be highly appreciated .
I'm single and was considering going with a company specialised in walking holidays.
Petra in Jordan has been one of my options but seems to be very crowded and the trips organised by some of the companies appear rather commercial .
