My daughter and I are leaving for India at the end of Sept for 1 month.
Starting in Delhi, then to Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur. Then fly to Cochin, Thekkady and end up in Varakala.
Interested in taking cooking classes along the way. Any suggestions of good ones?
Any suggestions for restaurants ?
Any suggestions for things to see or do along our way? Information would be appreciated.
Be careful with cooking classes. I met three girls once who went for one and fell very sick afterwards from the food they cooked.
In any case, safest places are always those restaurants that are packed with locals and have cooked meals. They are much safer than any tourist or hotel restaurants. Pls avoid eating any food from street vendors, especially if the food is fried in oil.
To contradict the above a bit: Anjani Hotel has a roof terrace with amazing views and with heavenly food (also a nice place to stay). Highly recommend...
We went cooking class last year in jaipur. That class we went didn't have any problems whith food hygiene, but just cannot remember place name.. But i highly recommend do cooking class in india. Indian food is best food in earth!
