Hey guys, im starting my travels 10th November ( first time traveller doing it alone so totally shitting myself lol) heading out to New zealand first then over to Oz mid Dec starting in Melbourne and working my way up to Cairns! Just wondered who else is out there around the same time, i'll be in Sydney for xmas and New year staying @ the Wake-up hostel! be good to chat to people in the same situation and maybe meet up for a cheeky drink on the beach xmas day

I'm in Melbourne from 16th December and then head to Sydney 23rd to the 2nd January. I havent actually booked my accomodation yet but know I need to get my ass in gear as like everything is booked up! How long ago did you book Wakeup?
I'm then spending about another month heading up to Cairns.
Looking forward to Xmas on Bondi...is that what your planning?

Anon1234 u defo need to get ur ass in gear i booked wake up in Feb as STA travel sed they get booked usually by april/may and ive seen some posts on here saying they tried to book in and its full.

there's four of us arriving in Oz on 29th November! We're doing Cairns to Adelaide though, but will be in Sydney for Xmas and New Year!
