Me and a couple of friends are planning on going interrailing around Europe through July/August. This is going to be a completely new experience and im not quite sure what to expect. we are flying to amsterdam to begin our trip, will spend a couple of days there and then begin the interrailing, as we dont want to spend time getting the train accross France/Belgium.

well u dont worry. just go there. its safe. and u need to use their currencies.
maybe make a trip to sarajevo, is a very nice city.
in east europe i would perfer bus then train. to travell with train takes a lot of time.
and with the bus u can go everywhere.
maybe just the night train from zagreb to split is ok.
