I've booked to go to Belgium for 4 nights in early April. I'm thinking of staying in Brussels for the first night and then spending the next 3 nights in Ghent, from where I would take a day trip to Bruges. Does this sound like a good plan?
Not a lot in Brussels. I would divide my time between there, Ghent, Bruges and pop into Oostende before returning to Brussels (trains every hour).
Fairly cheap = lowcostholidays.
Cheap = hostelbookers, hostelworld, travellerspoint.
The Bon Vivant in Ghent is €25 a night but book ASAP whatever you choose.
Thanks Cyberia. I'll look into Oostende as I hadn't thought of there.
Is it advisable to book the trains in advance?
