First time to Central/Latin America: Mexico or Peru?

Hi,

Both are fascinating places with outstanding food and rather plain women.

Climate is much influenced by altitude.

Mexico, Guatemala, Belize. Three countries with interesting Mayan sites. Easy to get to an navigate. Cheaper. More wild. Sam is wrong about Mexican women. Good luck.

.....Sam is wrong about Mexican women....

Yes i was just trying to be polite about a delicate subject-most of them are as shapely as an Estrella de Oro bus.

Thanks for the info.

And just to be clear, I am a woman

What about the climate? With November still (partly) being in the rainy season?

Hi, I'm not as active as I would like to be but I guess its cos I'm always on the go! This topic is interesting to me because I have 2 fantastic buddies, a couple who left NY to buy a house in Peru. I have been dying to do Peru forever. Now they have had friends over for a bit now they are a little tired and want me to come only if I can find a companion to climb the Inca trails with me because they tell me, doing it alone is definitely out of the question and not much fun. You need someone so you are constantly encouraging each other while taking in the incredible mind blowing sites. Ti make it even more complicated, they'll be travelling for a while in April and who knows when they'll be back!
So I'm all set to stay at their lovely beach house and start Machu Pichu if only I can find someone to climb the trails with. Its quite a distance for where I am now but it would be an experience of a lifetime for me!

If you're up for it - then let's go! If anyone else is then let me know!
I'm female so I'm going to run a CIA style check on you (Haha) so you don't leave me on the mountains.

Been travelling alone for 12yrs and I know how to make the best of the sights but I trust my friends when they say Peru is not for you alone! You've got to wow and scream together!

Lola.
