Organised trip around Morocco in December

Hello there!

Hi Ian, Morocco is great in the day, weather wise, pretty much all year round. I don't know where you're planning to go but in December, be prepared for the nights to get pretty chilly, bring a warm coat or lots of layers, even gloves & hat for when the sun goes down and a light waterproof jacket or brolly as it can rain too, though moreso along the coast. Sorry, that makes it sound like England! Don't worry though, the days will usually be warm and sunny. If you're thinking of doing any mountain treks, it can drop to below zero at night, so lots of layers for sleeping in your sleeping bag. Same with the desert, at night it can be freezing! It's a fabulous country, whatever the weather & I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time

Great thanks for your reply Jules!

So it really gets that cold in the night? We are travelling around in a circle going going to Marrakesh, Rabat, Fez, Merzouga and Todra Gorge so will probably hit all kinda of different weather and with one night staying in a large ten on the Sahara so I guess that going to be really cold at night?

Would it be shorts and t shirt in the day or not quiet that hot? Having trouble working out what to pack!

hello Ian

you're welcome to Morocco; at that moment the weather is fine, sunny during the day and quite cold at nights, but it differs according to the altitude; it's quite cold in the mountains and warm near to the sea.

if you'll be passing via the region of Khénifra (Middle atlas) drop me a line to meet up, i can help you within your plan.

greetings from Khénifra
Rachid
peace & hugs
