Buying off internet?

Im in Australia and want to buy a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 and the internet has the best prices (more than $200 cheaper) with the cameras sourced from Asia. Any advice for buying off the internet??? All the web sites say the user manual may come as a photocopy in English but everything else would be the same as if I bought it off the shelf at home...is this true? Im also wondering whether the plugs for the charger will be Australian (I contacted the companies by email but still waiting for replies!)

Are there Import Duties?

If so how much?

That could make all the difference-not to mention delivery by courier.

Cheers for the reply. I just bought one of an old friend who I found out worked at a camera shop...decent deal and definitely less worrysome than the internet!!!
