Hey, sorry but not a specialist on that area. I have detail info on Rocky Point (Puerto Peñasco) located in the north part of Mexico.
I hear Oaxaca City is a nice place to visit. A friend of mine stayed there for a week and loved it. I wonder if the town will have some sort of posada? I'm not sure. You should check out Puebla while you have a chance.
