Does anybody know if there is a bus to get from Cancun to Oaxaca. If so the price and how long aprx. Any advise would be great. Tried researching but couldn't come up with much.
You probably have to take a series of buses.
First a bus from Cancun to Merida,
then from Merida to Campeche,
then from Campeche to Ciudad del Carmen
then from Ciudad del Carmen to Villahermosa
then from Villahermosa to Coatzacoalcos
then from Coatzacoalcos to Oaxaca
It is a long ways from Cancun to Oaxaca by bus--about 800 miles or over 1200 kilometers.
The one-way plane flights are about $189. You will miss some of the most interesting parts of Mexico by flying, but if you are trying to get there quickly, this would save you a lot of time.
Flying is much much faster and will allow you to enjoy Oaxaca instead of arriving feeling like a dirty greasy old rag doll.
