Some (belated) introductions!

I should have 'introduced' some of our great new moderators last month when they signed on for the gig, but for some reason the post just never seemed to be written. Until now... So without further ado, here's some members that you all already know (hence my using the usernames), but who now see shiny Edit and Delete buttons inside the forums they control

Welcome, guys!

Now, if you could just head to Store Room 1 in the dungeon level (where you might be able to see dr.pepper locked in there) to pick up your respective brooms, mops, cleaning liquids, etc.

Happy cleaning!

Congratulations to all of our new Janitors!!!!! I know Bex and Cal have gotten their keys to the broom closet already!

Ahem. Sam - boy are you in deep doo-doo.... There is someone you forgot to mention.... Once he reads this thread, you'll be able to find him over in the CA/SA Forum, crying and/or swearing in Spanish. He's very sensitive, you know.
I'd watch it. He's got a key to the broom closet and may just chase you around with a very wet mop. Eeewww...

Again, welcome to the Mad House everyone (including the mysterious missing Mod)!!!!!!

Wait, I didn't forget him. He's been a moderator for a while, so I figured sometime years ago he must have been introduced?! If not, wait for it, a special drumroll please.......

has very agreed to take on a few new forums to help out his beloved Isadora.

There's actually been a few little reshuffles and additions/removals like this. In addition to the Member and Forum stats page, I've also updated this stickied thread with all the .

........and in a scene reminiscent of an after hours juke joint in deepest Mississippi, when the patrons have long gone and the only one left is an aging janitor pushing a weathered broom across the half-dirt floor, a song, heard by no one, wafts gently on the breeze..........

(In constant sorrow through his days)

I am a man of constant sorrow
I've seen trouble all my day.
I bid farewell to old Kentucky
The place where I was born and raised.
(The place where he was born and raised)

For six long years I've been in trouble
No pleasures here on earth I found
For in this world I'm bound to ramble
I have no friends to help me now.

[chorus] He has no friends to help him now

It's fare thee well my old lover
I never expect to see you again
For I'm bound to ride that northern railroad
Perhaps I'll die upon this train.

[chorus] Perhaps he'll die upon this train.

You can bury me in some deep valley
For many years where I may lay
Then you may learn to love another
While I am sleeping in my grave.

[chorus] While he is sleeping in his grave.

Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger
My face you'll never see no more.
But there is one promise that is given
I'll meet you on God's golden shore.

[chorus] He'll meet you on God's golden shore.

.......and as the night turns darkest, the aging Janitor shuffles through the dirt down the oak tree-lined lane, Spanish moss draping from the trees like death shrouds, and in minutes, he is gone from sight, to return only when the night is darkest......

I still love you, Dear! (See, even Sam called me your "beloved".) You even got a drum roll. How cool is that?!

Now, I think there may be a thread or two to follow up on in CA/SA. Don't make me get out the Holy Hose of Discipline...

Thanks Sam. I didn't realise I was one of the first 10,000 members.

And I couldn't have wished for 2 nicer moderator partners!

Okay - someone teach Sam to put a comma in the appropriate places. I read it as Bex being one of the first 1000 members. (Sorry Bex - that mistake made it more impressive. I think I'll stick with that one!)

Do you mind if I take about 26 weeks off? I could us a vacation.

Thank you for the compliment! Seriously!

I couldn't have asked for a better co-mod either!

Welcome, new moderators! Another serious blow for the spammers

Oooo didn't know the moderator system for many forums is still relatively new (since the list of mods per forum were already there when I started getting active and exploring around the TP site). Thanks all for keeping the forum nice and pretty and clear from spams
