hello all,
I'm travelling to the netherlands and need to know what type of adaptor i need for my charger.
It's a 3.6v battery pack which needs to mains charged.
Thanks.
The Netherlands uses the standard European "C-type" plugs with two round prongs. You should be able to find a plug adapter at any local hardware store, travel/camping store, or just at the airport, and it shouldn't cost you more than a couple of euros/dollars.
If you're from the USA or some other location where the standard voltage is still at 110/120 volt, then you might also want to look at what voltages the charger can handle: it'll have a large block of tiny (white) letters, one of which will be something like: foreign input: 100-240v~ - the important thing there is the high number. The Netherlands is on 230 volt. If the charger can't handle 230 volt, then you'll need an expensive voltage converter in order to not fry the charger. But probably the charger can handle the voltage, and all you need is a plug adapter.
