Hey all
Me gf and two mates fly in to Sydney beginning of March. Wondered where is best to stay before we go up the east coast campervan style. was thinking Wake up or BASE hostels? any opinions on either?
Also any advice on clubs pubs and things to do in evenings much appreciated.

I stayed in Base over Christmas and New Year '04 and had a really good time there. It's clean with good facilities and the location is really good - not far from George Street and Darling harbour. There's a bar in the hostel and a good communal area.
